We do! – And we know it exactly! That’s why we created youdontknowshit for you, your neighbor, your grandpa, and everyone else who uses the wastewater system every day. We believe that our outdated wastewater system urgently needs an upgrade to keep up with future challenges.

Who we are

youdontknowshit was created by the Network for Sustainable Sanitation Systems (NetSan e.V.), a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming wastewater management into a circular system.
Netsan is a group of experts from science and research, startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and engaged individuals. Together, we strive to make the world a little better—and that's why we're starting with our own shit!

The translation and publication of the website in French and English was financed by the Foundation for Human Progress through the French ecological and circular sanitation networks and associations (Réseau de l'Assainissement Écologique RAE), Swiss (VaLoo) and German (Netsan).
